Worth和worthwhile都是形容词.
Worth的用法
Worth仅用在系动词 be, seem, look之后，做表语类的形容词，意思是有某类特别的价值，尤其是“钱”的价值。
A:I wonder how much the house isworth 我想知道这房子值多少钱。
B:About half a million, probably. 大概50万吧。
有一种表达To be worth doing something很常用. 意思是某事某东西很有用或很重要，应该去做。
A:I haven’t had a reply to my email to Jane.Is it worth phoningher, do you think?

Worthwhile的用法
